Vienna is the capital of Austria and a vibrant metropolis with a rich cultural and architectural history. Vienna is known for its magnificent palaces, museums and opera houses, it is also a major hub for art, music and cuisine. The city is surrounded by picturesque parks and gardens and offers numerous opportunities for entertainment, shopping and exploration.

Vienna’s historic center, characterized by its coherence, stands as a prominent European cityscape. Reflecting three distinct periods, it bears the imprints of the Middle Ages through the soaring Gothic architecture of St. Stephen’s Cathedral, an iconic emblem of Vienna; the opulent Baroque era exemplified by the Imperial Palace and its magnificent domes; and the late nineteenth-century Ring Boulevard epoch, featuring grand structures like the Vienna State Opera and the Museum of Fine Arts, replacing the city’s former fortifications.
